Bruce was born without his bicuspid teeth and had a closed bite that left insufficient space to replace the missing teeth. He wore a partial denture for most of his life, but it was uncomfortable and made eating difficult.
Over the years, Bruce consulted several dentists, yet he never felt confident in their treatment plans or their ability to achieve the results he envisioned. That changed when he came to our office for a consultation.
Dr. Thein created detailed study models of Bruce’s mouth and built a prototype of his ideal outcome. By opening Bruce’s bite to create the necessary space for new teeth, Dr. Thein was then able to graft bone in Bruce’s sinus to support dental implants.
