Dr. Thein is just outstanding. We chose him because he works well with people with phobias using sedation, and our son needs that. But since then, the whole family has been going there and wow. Dr. Thein is a perfectionist. I had a very difficult cavity that was between teeth up to the nerve. His filling was artistry. And no pain or sensitivity. I had a pretty extensive procedure that took over a year to complete. It entailed several implants and sinus lift surgery. I was nervous about going through with it and had turned down many doctors in the past. When I met Dr. Thein it was different though. He is incredibly dedicated to his craft, and it shows. His skills as a surgeon are top notch, which boosted my confidence that everything would turn out well and it did. Also, his disarming humor put me at ease so that visits were actually a pleasure. Dr. Thein is the best dentist in Southern California. I got veneers put on my teeth due to a chip. His work is excellent. My friends say I have a million dollar smile now. He is friendly and has a lot of integrity. He really CARES that you are happy and that his work is exceptional.  Cindy and Ariana work with Doctor Thein and they are amazing as well. I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Thein. My first impression was very positive and the good vibe gets better with each visit. My treatment plan is quite extensive and I have absolute trust and confidence that Dr. Thein will achieve the best possible result. Every aspect of his practice deserves praise, but the thing I find most outstanding thus far is communication and the time Dr. Thein devotes to his cases. Dr. Thein gives the most thorough and comprehensive consultation possible. He seems up to date with all the latest technology and information. Using models of the mouth and actual "hardware",  explaining diagnostic imagery, etc.: his patients are 100% fully informed, including options and total cost of treatment. Their great communication continues as Boston Dental follows up after the procedure with phone calls to make sure the patient is doing okay. I'm a chicken when come to dentist work because of past BAD experience! Went to Dr. Thein and together with Dr. Alena (anathesiologist) what a professional team!! Put out, and had 3.5 hours of dental work done all at once! What a pleasure when I awoke to have everything done! Felt TOTALLY SAFE with these 2 guys. Love them both! No bruising, which was a big thing for me. If you're like me and hesitant to go to the dentist because of being scared, pain, emotional stress, etc. PLEASE GO SEE DR. THEIN! He and his crew, especially Cindy the receptionist/all around girl will take GOOD care of you with love and laughs! I will NOT go to anyone else in the future, even though I'm moving out of the area. I was so afraid to finish my dental Visit due to COVID 19 restrictions. I had Dr Thein fix and emergency of another implant from a big office dentist fail in less than 5 yrs.  I also  have my own Health concern with asthma. I kept my appointment and was elated at the precaution and changes Dr Thein made to insure safety I his office. I was greeted by a locked door , called to enter. I was showed in  by Adriana in full surgical covering , mask and face shield. Gloves. My temperature was taken  , I was given a form to fill out . As I entered the exam room , the room was outfitted with a laminar type HEPA  filter . Every surface was cleaned and covered. X-ray , computer , everything wiped down and ver very clean. Dr Thein was nice and very patient . He took the time and explains all the safety to ensure my protection . He wore full covering, mask and face shield , I felt safe . Best part ,I finally got my tooth replaced .  I feel that this was a safe and very respectful to my needs for keeping non contact , yet getting my dental work done . Wish I could give Dr. Thein and his staff more than a 5 star rating cause it is so well deserved. After many years of neglecting my teeth due to the fear of Dentist's, I no longer have that fear thanks to Dr. Thein. Iv'e had many different procedures with Dr. Thein from cleanings, root canals, crowns, pulling of wisdom teeth and even dental implants which is his specialty. One great thing I like about this place is my recovery time is so fast. But I think most of that is due to the knowledge and great work Dr. Thein. He truly is the best in his field. His staff and assistants are really great. Iv'e told Cindy (receptionist) to release my phone# to anyone that has any questions or needs assurance on how great Dr. Thein is. Office Staff is awesome very accommodating to my busy schedule and Dr. Thein is very gently and explain everything in great detail, Highly recommend Boston Dental been coming for many many years, I believe over 19 yrs.
